At Escape in Time, our Santa Claus Family Photos have become a cherished holiday tradition for us, one that started as an idea in the midst of uncertainty and grew into a heartwarming mission to bring joy to families in Albuquerque.

In 2020, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, we knew the holidays would look different. Determined to keep the Christmas spirit alive, we had the idea to set up a giant plastic snow globe with Santa and Mrs. Claus inside. Families could come close, take pictures, and enjoy a festive backdrop while staying safe.
Our family made it happen: Grandpa Keith took on the role of Santa, Grandma Penny became Mrs. Claus, our daughter Caycee—an experienced professional photographer—captured the magic, and the rest of us worked behind the scenes to create a memorable experience.
What started small quickly grew into something special. In 2021, we expanded our operation, taking Santa on the road to bring joy to even more families in Albuquerque. We introduced new traditions, such as offering cookies and tea with Mrs. Claus, and each child received a small gift from Santa and Mrs. Claus after their photoshoot. These moments, filled with warmth and love, became a highlight for us and the families who joined us.
THIS YEAR
This year, we're excited to add a new experience for the kids. In addition to meeting Santa, children will have the chance to stuff their very own holiday bear at our newest attraction, The Noble Bear Bazaar, right here at Escape in Time. It’s another way for us to bring even more joy to your holiday season.
